Philip Foster Farm
Pioneers descending Mt. Hood welcomed the sight of entrepreneur Philip Foster's farm as they reached the end of the Barlow Trail, which Foster helped to fund. Today, visitors to the farm can explore a blacksmith shop, heirloom apple orchard, 1860s-vintage barn and a farmhouse built in 1883, which is shaded by the oldest lilac tree in the state.
