Government Camp
This alpine village on Mt. Hood's southern slopes dates to the mid-1800s when a government party abandoned their wagons and supplies at the site before continuing into Oregon City. Today, the town is home to quaint ski chalets, restaurants and pubs, recreation outfitters and the Summit Ski Area.
