St. Mary's Basilica - Piper Plaza

Founded in 1881, St. Mary's is the oldest Catholic church in Phoenix. Noted for its carillon tower and magnificent stained glass windows, today's basilica was built in 1915 on the site of the original adobe church and is surrounded by a plaza named for a noted Arizona philanthropist.
