Triangle Moraine - Sunrise

By beginning the south-side climb during the night, climbers can climb on hard snow covered in an icy crust and enjoy the amazing scenery at sunrise. Triangle Moraine, at approximately 9,400 feet, provides a resting spot between the top of the Palmer snowfield and the Hogsback ridge, where much steeper climbing begins.
