Larch Mountain Viewpoint
A short trail leads from a picnic area to a panoramic viewpoint atop Larch Mountain. From this 4,000-foot-high shield volcano, visitors enjoy a sweeping view of the Columbia River Gorge and many of the major peaks of the northern Cascades, including Mt. Hood, Mt. St. Helens, Mt. Adams, Mt. Rainier and Mt. Jefferson. The picnic area also provides access to trails leading to the Columbia River Gorge and Multnomah Falls below.
