High Desert Museum - Otter Exhibit

NIght and day, season upon season, humans interact with nature. Porcupines and loggers coexist, though they make use of the same resource. River otters play and feed in the precious waters enjoyed by everyone. Birds of prey hunt for rabbits and field mice above a sagebrush ocean that provides sustenance for ranchers, scientists, and artists alike. You can see examples of these animals and their natural habitats in the musuem's Wildlife Observation Area.
