The Deschutes Historical Museum has many exhibits that give visitors an appreciation of the history of central Oregon and the people that have played a part in its growth. The museum kitchen, constructed to resemble a typical home of the past, helps visitors see how much we have progressed technologically and appreciate some of our present conveniences.
